Fields and Peaks in Sierra Nevada

Covering 86,000 hectares, Sierra Nevada (‘Snowy Mountains’) is one of Spain’s most important natural areas, home to hundreds of plant species. Its highest peaks are Mulhacén (3,479 m) and Veleta (3,394 m).

At the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains lies Granada - at an altitude of 738 meters above sea level. If you want to visit the Sierra Nevada, the city is the logical choice for having a cup of coffee or visiting the Alhambra.
