In the Parque del Oeste on Carretera de Cádiz, the pond is inhabited by a pair of black swans.

On the Carretera de Cádiz, in the Huelin district of Málaga, lies the Parque Huelín. The pond has an island of palm trees in its center and is home to several families of ducks.

Across the city of Málaga, you can find several very old Ficus macrophylla trees, such as those in the Jardines Picasso above and on Plaza del Teatro below, in the old city centre near Calle Carretería.
